2023 Subscriptions PaulL Posted November 14, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted November 14, 2016 Hi All I have been in touch with Andy from the Glasgow Cycle Speedway club about the JWCC coming down and having an event. The Track is based in Cathkin park, Myrtle Road, Crosshill. This would be open to everyone and would be just a fun day out to try out Cycle Speedway and Support Glasgow Cycle Speedway Club. For those who have never tried cycle speedway I have put some links and videos below but its great fun and easy to pick up(hard to master). You won't need any equipment(bring your helmet, warm clothes and gloves) they will supply bikes. Andy has said we could have some practice and a race format(Charlie), lots of sprinting, cornering and close contact! it would be great to have enough people to make up two teams(male and female). The Season is over for Cycle Speedway but they would be willing to facilitate us on a Saturday or Sunday, I was thinking Sunday December the 11th? So... Who is interest? Can you make the Sunday 11th of December? If you can't make it why the hell not?
