2023 Subscriptions thejanullrichdietplan Posted September 5, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 5, 2016 How about Points at the finish to 5th place 10 for the win then 8,6,4,2 And a Bishy hill intermediate KOM - 2 points for 1st, 1 for 2nd and the finish is the start of the layby where people join the Renfrew bunch (across from the entrance to the Good Shepherd). Just thinking about this summer, Jan has done a great job despite the persistent, but thoroughly deserved, ribbing about his points system. There are only 2 things I think could make it even better, - points down to 4th or 5th place at each scoring opportunity as mentioned above to keep more people engaged more of the time, - keep up the occasional rule changes as it keeps it lively, eg add on the extra bit to Houston from time to time or make the hill prime the roundabout instead of the top etc. Any other thoughts before Jesus comes up with the winter worlds rules, Lord help us, Colin McPhee 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Robbie and I were shadowing each other all night as we were fighting for fifth place in the series but I fear Colin Mcphee who was in storming form may have pipped us both but will wait to see the final scores from the maestro who of course has to make the appropriate amendments for age difference. Paul manages to hang on to 2nd place by a point despite not being able to make it out tonight and Colin makes a late charge into the top 5 sneaking ahead of Charlie and Robbie who were focused on marking each other out.
