Somebody mentioned the Bishopton boys needed a lie in this weekend. So in the interests of the big girl's blouses getting more shut eye than the rest of us, its Helensburgh at the weekend (subject to any forecast Arctic blasts, in which case it'll be the Largs run as per).

Usual 09.00 depart from Miller Street and we can pick up the sleepyheads along the way, either at the Smiddy roundabout or at the Bridge. Steady pace, cafe stop at Balloch, 60+ predominately flat miles for most.

Post up if you're riding.

I will have the long lie thanks, but will be unable to join you as I'll be enjoying a full Scottish breakfast around about that time in a nice wee hotel in the West End after an afternoon and evening up the big smoke with the good lady... have a nice day folks..

Come on folks, it's only a drop of rain for Merckx sakes!

Well, I'll be at the end of Georgetown road or Red Smiddy roundabouts around 9.25am if anyone is still coming out!

I find riding in the rain purifies my soul! :-)

Cheers

It's not the rain for me. My mojo seems to have gone south for the winter.

Weekend off. Wife happy for me to go out but it's me who doesn't want to!

Answers on a postcard!! :(

Dear Richie,

You are obviously suffering from SAD. This can be treated by splashing out on some new kit.

I checked with Pactimo & they can do you a nice onesie in JWCC Colours-

Just the thing for a cosy Sunday morning, watching the hollyoaks omnibus.

They don't do washing up gloves tho so you'll have to stick with your pink ones.
