Happy to do whatever. However, in the interests of good form, Billy took the time and posted first. Therefore, his post trumps any in bunch thinking - don't be so smug MacB!!!! Lumpy Largs on the 11th followed by Kilcreggan on the 18th should be the way of it.

......and thus peace and harmony was restored to the galaxy.

.......or your fading eyesight MacB.

Andy, peace and harmony have been restored, so there :icon_mooning . It's all coffee with milk or milk with coffee - yuck!

Rule number 302 regards drinks consumed at cafe stops should be invoked - Should a cafe stop be taken, hot beverages should be limited to coffee only. Said coffee should be black and be of sufficient strength to make your eyes water, giving you a serious boost after twenty minutes - precisely how George likes his men Gawn, gie's a kiss. . Only deviation to be tolerated would be tea - by the pot. No more maccacappolattecino nonsense.

see y'all Sunday

Certainly a good route and further proof that a run to Largs can be enjoyable if you avoid the Westferry. Nice to be be back in a position of being in the same postcode at top of climbs as well.

Front derailleur over shifted at bottom of Fairlie and jammed in bottom bracket so had to split chain to get it out without damaging frame hence no show at the top. This FD has been the bane of my life during the bike build and never had so many set up issues before. Chain catcher on order.

Good run for me. Good to be properly back in the bunch and not loitering at the back. The 3 non Fairlie riders had a smashing wee blast over to Kilbirnie albeit with a good tailwind. More of the same required.

80 on the clock so a reasonable distance given the lumpy route and the windy on the way out. All good fun.
