I may be wrong, but that may have been a PB for me on this course. Not sure at all. Well confused as I am not really in shape for this sort of malarky.

Very lovely evening for it, the cider afterwards took away the taste of blood after my sprint for the finish. More pubs after these TT thingys get my vote.

I love this route!

We will need more than two riders to make this happen.

If there is an interest in a club run I shall organise it. Post up if interested. Looking at a 0900 start at the clubrooms.
-
I will be there, but I shall buy my own chocolate bar this year.

Lovely weather tonight, if a bit breezy on the outward leg. Adaptable as always we had three riders go out with myself timing. Scott showed up later and did a self timed run, but decided that it was not worth sharing the time. Alan also gave me a shot while everyone patiently waited on me.
Dave 21m 00s pb paid
Paul 19m 23s pb paid
Alan 18m 54s paid
Gerard 18m 23s forgot to pay!
Also a brief drop in from Paul M, nice seeing Wheelers out and about again.

Wherever and whatever happens I will be there with whoever.

I have forgotten my time for last night! May we have them posted up please so I know if I improve next week.

Arts Cyclery on YouTube has a quick video on this that works. But if you are looking at replacements then it may be too far gone for this fix.

I'm keen to try my first TT this year. I've only got my normal road bike and kit, so it'll need to be that. Assuming that's okay, could someone post a link to the course and meeting point please?
Ta
I just pop on some aero bars to a road bike and do fine.

I will turn up, but be prepared to wait for me to finish. Willing to time-keep if needed.

If anyone still needs added to this group then message me with your mobile number. We will breathe life into clubs runs over the coming weeks and we need everyone to take part.

Already hosed it down, along with other stuff. Sent my address to you.

I have been organising stuff and I now no longer need my old toolbox. It is a large plastic Stanley one and is fully functional, it just needs a clean and is free for the taking. I will run the jet washer over it beforehand.

I do not ride online, so I may just do the routes for real on the day. Are they posted up anywhere?

Gerard D going fast down Main Road (B789) hill in Langbank today as I was huffing and puffing my way up it in the pishing rain 😓 lol
Thanks to lockdown I can descend a lot faster. It has something to do with physics, mass and gravity, I will know more about after the topic comes up in home schooling. If you were wearing visible club kit I would have stopped to say hello, I miss club runs and everyone I would see there.

I would have been down first if it was not for a pesky puncture on those stupid council road blobs that pass for maintenance these days.
A great turnout of cyclists and the media. It was disturbingly left to me to speak to the BBC and the Scotsman, good job I can converse in fluent gibberish. A good blast round the Campsies with many cyclists. Followed by lunch with Pippa, where we heard a load of stuff about what went on in the pro peloton back in the days; plenty of names named and shameful behaviours. Nice to see Chung, it has been too long and new member Geo.
