carol cowan got a reaction from ChrisB in Sunday 10th April to Stewarton
Seven set off this morning, Bill, Anthony, Boyd, Graham, Ken (flying visit) Dave & Carol. Extended advertised route to Kilmaurs and cafe stop at Rendezvous cafe which is most accommodating for cyclists. Good quick and friendly service and offer to fill water bottles on departure. Bill had a rare puncture before Kilmaurs. Last one was just after the war. Left cafe refreshed and took farm roads to Auchentiber, Barmill and back down Bowfield hill. Good run in good company and dry weather. Dave

carol cowan got a reaction from GrahamF in Weekend tour to Galloway,30th April -2nd May 2016
Gerard. Just read your post today and that looks a good meet up point. We have never been here but there will probably be plenty of space for bikes rather than a High Street cafe.

Thanks to Ian, David and Paul for timekeeping, shovin off and photos on what was a chilly and windy night. Well done to Alan mac on his first time trial. It only gets more painful from now on as you try to lower your time. Dave & Carol

carol cowan got a reaction from chung in Easter Sunday Run
Five on this run today. Bill T. Karen, Peter, Dave & Carol. Track to B of Weir, Houston, West Glen, Kilmacolm and then up Phils Folly into a very strong headwind. Some sleet and hailstanes at the top but never lasted and sun came out. Strong headwind down Johnshill and then into Castle Semple for coffee and chocolate.Met Carols brother Robert in the cafe and then headed back along the track with a tailwind. Just over 30miles but felt like more with the headwind. Thanks for the company on what was a character building run. Dave
