How about heading up Rannoch Road off Beith Road to arrive at Lapwing Lodge up a good climb to warm us up if a bit chilly.
Can head towards Lugton, then Gateside, Hessilhead road to Barmill, Auchenmead Farm and turn right for Highfield, Kilbirnie and then track to Lochwinnoch for a coffee stop at Castle Semple or possibly carry on to Kilmacolm via Johnshill for coffee..
Please post if coming out.

Alan, well done on the listings. I would agree with Grahame and hold the 2up championship on the 3rd practice Tuesday night this year and monitor for future.

Good run today with 10 leaving Miller St and making our way to Stewarton to meet up with Jane and Grahame at Jacks Cafe, but as things turned out we missed each other. First time in this cafe and it was full of cyclists and is bike friendly. Group split on way home with majority retracing our route with a tailwind and through mist and gloom but a good run back to Miller Street. Thanks for the company guys and girls and hopefully more of the same next week.

Thanks to Anthony & Andy for yesterdays run in what turned out to be a damp and driech morning but enjoyable all the same. We made it to the Mill along part of the Barmill circuit route but the surface has not improved. Coffee and cakes were taken in the cafe and then home via Highfield, Glengarnock and then the cycle track at a brisk pace with a slight tailwind. The new winter jacket got its first soaking but coped well and is a great piece of kit.

Group of seven left clubrooms, Jaki, Kaz,Eric,Alan,Anthony,Graeme & Dave. Felt like a headwind most of the way to Helensburgh but views and light was good. Anthony left us here and the rest headed up Sinclair Street and made good progress to Balloch and Corrie Cafe for rolls, eggs and coffee and then more coffee. The girls left first with the plan for the rest of us to catch them up but despite a fast chase we could not catch them. Thanks for the company.

Great turnout today by the Wheelers and thanks go to Alan McLean for Captain of the 9.00am bunch, Billy and Ian for the prizegiving and Alan T for setting them up. Jann for the catering and to all the prizewinners. We really are a great club. Dave & Carol.
P.S. Carol has set down a marker for Paul L's Hammock award as she crashed into a bollard at Cameron House after first shouting out a warning of "Bollards ahead" dohh
