Yes, Iain, it was a real struggle to hold in the 'all-inclusive' stomach.
BTW- the hired bike was KTM Strada 2000.
Alloy frame and a triple on the front! Oh the shame of it!!!!!
But seriously, a good sturdy but heavy bike.

I'll give it a go - weather permitting!
Like Len I will start from Lochwinnoch and cycle to the ferry. About 20 miles?
Eric - good advise about Cal mac.
When we know the numbers nearer the time we can give them a call.
Didn't have a problem last time. Sunday morning not so busy.

Lovely run to Troon. Long route via Galston and Tarbolton (see Strava).
Disappointed that the Blueberry Cafe wouldn't serve me a hot filled roll cos it was after 11:30.
Went next door (The Coffee House) and had the biggest scrambled egg roll I've ever seen!
As I came off the track at Howwood Emma was passing by so we shared the route for a few miles until I turned off for Lugton.

Met Chung at Craigton Road end and headed for Fenwick. Moscow and then cafe stop at Whitelees Wind Farm.
Return via Newton Mearns (where Chung peeled off home) and I continued through Barrhead, Elderslie to LW.
65 miles and very warm!! Very dehydrated when I got home!
Nice to have company part of the way.

Sunday 11th Dec : Dunlop Dairy
in Sunday Run - Thirty Milers

A lovely run. Rain stayed away.
Nice cafe stop at the dairy where we 6 had the place to ourselves!
I need to do more club runs - much more enjoyable than solo stuff.
