  1. Yip I'd be up for Friday early as well, need to see what others are thinking. There is a Ryanair option at 6am Saturday from Prestwick and return to there on Wednesday. Price for bike is higher but flights cheaper, ends up 6 and 1/2 dozen.

  2. I am up for Camp Casa XXX 2020 (took some time to explain to my wife that a XXX camp was an acceptable vacation activity)

So let me check - are youse going out Sat 29th Feb to Friday 6th March. As there is no room in the XXX Casa I will likely book a villa or similar with other wheelers or couriers who are going out.

I am looking at Saturday to Wednesday. Any others on here interested?

  3. Real good grind up the coast into an unexpected and strong headwind.

Real good coffee and cake at BB.

Big Al left us at top of Whin as he was in danger of becoming a paraglider with his 55mm wheels ! Iain, Charlie and I persevered.

  4. Charlie and I had a recalibration tonight as it was looking sparse for domestiques for Arran.

Now planning a Galeb Gallop from Bulls garage at 9am. Tempo to top of Whin, brief regroup then down through Spango and a blooter up to Largs after we keep it together over Inverkip drag.

Bagel Basket, then W Kilbride etc.

    Who is in?

  5. I'm sure you've all been tracking the weather for Saturday - well its getting even better for Arran, SSW wind, perfect for a blast up the West coast.

Team players required - a 2 up with Charlie could prove harder than a DA :)

  6. A friend told me the weather looks near perfect at this stage for an SA on Saturday morning. What could be better -  a glorious Autumnal SA -  use all that summer form to get into the Hall of Fame,

So who might be up for that. Usual script - 0700 ferry, 56 lumpy miles, will be paced to achieve the required 20mph, return on 1105 ferry.

  7. Banging bunch of 9 today. Had a blast up the coast then a visit to the BB where we caught up with Ian C. Pretty cold and wet when we came out so it became an eyeballs out experience via W Kilbride to Lochwinnoch where I was relieved to exit left. Good riding from Charlie with a rapid pace being set mainly by Richie, Gregg, Marc and Scott but everyone emptied the tanks.
