  1. Will be there. Ruairi riding as well.
  2. Think I will be able to make it and time keep. Will confirm tomorrow.
  3. 6 racing tonight. Blustery conditions didn't stop at least a couple of PB's. Iain McT 16:04 Stuart T 16:35 pb Scott Mc 17:37 Colin S 18:00 Joseph Mc (Jet) 19:03 Ruairi M (Jet) 20:33 pb Alan T collected £s from Stuart and Iain. Colin and Scott get their names put in the window till next week.
  4. That is a great road with a westerly wind.
  5. Ruairi fancies a go at the GT so we will be along tonight. Will timekeep to allow all you testers to get your PB better.
  6. It means low gears for a good while. Plenty gravel on the descent to Otter Ferry when young Mul and I did it last month. Worth keeping canny (and avoid blowing your nose).
  7. Quick report for those who don't Facebook. Very successful weekend for the club at the nationals with 4 golds: Jamie T and Isla M both winning the youth B (under 14) scratch race and omnium. Great racing from all our riders across all three days.

Gerard and Sam flying the JWCC flag today, as well as a good bunch of Jets. 1st espoir for Sam in the hill climb, while Louie Dixon won both youth events (and sneaked off with 4th overall prize in the HC as well). Good day out down the water as ever.
  9. What route(s) are you thinking of riding Iain?
  10. Good wee group of 14 and 15 year olds there, riding road, track, cross, mtb as well as the TT. They have a great attitude, train hard and have a laugh.
  11. Nice wee spin today with Dave, Carol, Al, Boyd and Ruairi. Good to bump into Alan McLean and see his holiday photies from the giro over an extended café stop as well.
  12. Calamity. I have to go to a family do in the east on Sunday. No club run for me
  13. I would have needed a taxi home if I had joined you for that!
  14. Jeezo that was hard work: haven't been up the transmitter hill since Greg Balden was a boy (2007 Braveheart run, since you asked). Wasn't meaning to be antisocial missing the cafe stop, just needed to go home for a lie down :-)
  15. Hi Elaine, will be along to help out before the start.
  16. Will join y'all for whatever happens.
  17. Intermediate bunch is back :-) Elaine and DC of the Amstel (Hamoc) party, Andy Ross and me managed 50 odd miles without any wrong turnings today. Some great views from the top of the Fairlie and then a tailwind up Brisbane Glen and the Whin. Thanks for the route and the company.
  18. Will advertise to Jets mailing list and through FB as well, see if we can get some more parents to join the senior club.
  19. Yep, good guys. Replaced the body on my record lever.
  20. Didn't change mine. Didn't test it before I got to Flanders either. Born lucky.
  21. Cheers all for a fine ride. Good route home from the caff as well.
  22. I changed my semi compact 52/36 to a 34 for Flanders. No problems on the cobbles or since I have come back. Think it's on for good now.
