2023 Subscriptions George Posted January 27, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted January 27, 2016 After mastering every other discipline I'm toying with the idea of cyclocross. Not got a clue about the bikes tho. Can anyone recommend a good one. Budget about £1200

2023 Subscriptions PaulL Posted January 27, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted January 27, 2016 The Ridley X-Fire range is nice but might be just over £1500 X-ride are nice too, but not as eh expensive.. DavieB
Talk about doing things by halves ....£1200 knicker just to give it a go. Hows about Kinesis frame <£500 add carbon tubs <£350 and build from there. Wheels far more important than frame, rider far more important than either. http://www.fatbirds.co.uk/535/cyclocross-frames.aspx If I was going for exotica my pick would be Stevens though UK distribution dodgy, I believe Raleigh might not be too bad and may have something in common with... http://www.alanbike.it/cross-2016/ The Alan range looks fabby tbh. In all seriousness you can't really go far wrong with Kinesis - bulletproof, have threaded BB's and unless you go for the race model very flexible in terms of turning into commuter/winter bike. Dolan...nah.
