Departure up the Brisbane didn't seem worth it once I saw pretty equivalent distances on strava. I was very excited by the renovated wee shop in Barrmill where they now have a real expresso machine. I needn't have bothered because they only used the steamer thing to give me an instant coffee in a polysterene cup (which I left undrunk). Some parts of Scotland are beyond salvation.
