Hilly Time Trial 22 July??

Recommended Posts

Thanks indeed to Jann and Alan T for doing the biz.

Well done to all on a glorious night to be on a bike! A testy headwind ensured a difficult return leg, but a real pleasure to ride on a largely perfect surface (really only the wooded section before/after Formakin is a bit rough) with virtually no traffic to speak of.

Great to see Hamish and Adam out and riding well in the heat!

Well done to everyone taking part. Echoing Mary's comment I'd like to see more of these on the calendar too, especially having missed both runs this year.

So some want more hilly TT so what do we drop

10 TT west ferry is generally our best rider turnout so not this we only have 2 25 TT so not these that leaves the 2 up TT which was poorly attended or the chocolate series

However the first hilly TT only had about 6 riders if I remember so what do we drop

Why drop anything ? Add them to existing calendar if there is a demand. Ifnot supported next year they can removed again. If you can get volunteer timekeepers run as many confined events aspossible to cater for all riders. In past APRs were popular so we ran them regular and even a series of hill climbs on a variety of climbs for a few years.l
