Committee Alan McLean Posted December 19, 2013 Committee Report Share Posted December 19, 2013 At velodrome on Sunday so bogs for me. Need to get home for 1300 so would be grateful for a tow uptrack to Kilbarchan at the end.

2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted December 19, 2013 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted December 19, 2013 Alan Unfortunately, not really possible to be back for 1pm. Always at Largs between 11.45 and noon. So if you go straight up heely you might just get back to Kilmalcolm for 1pm. Hope you can negotiate an extension Loch at 9.20. Houston roundabout 9.45. Committee Alan McLean Posted December 21, 2013 Committee Report Share Posted December 21, 2013 Elite boggers, four jwcc and three couriers, were lashed by wind and rain on a shortened ride today. Instead of retreat up the Clune we nipped up Barrs Brae behind Tesco in the Port, the Wall, Old Greenock Road and home on track (or in Paul's case a further 15k into headwind to Lochwinnoch.) Sun came out for last 5k. Happy Christmas to all our readers.
2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted December 21, 2013 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted December 21, 2013 Extended Rule 5 required for first couple of hours this morning. 6 men good and true did it. And Linzie - chapeau. Good call by Alan to head up the Muur de Port then the Muur van Glasgowbergen. With little rivers running down them. Colin McPhee
Weather improved by end of run but quite glad to get back indoors after being lashed by wind and rain. Hope Santa is good to everybody think I'm too late to post a note to him for some new legs !
Committee Alan McLean Posted December 28, 2013 Committee Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 I was the solo Wheeler massively outnumbered by Kooriers in a damp but fun run today. 11 starters. Good to see a smooth bunch of junior riders in Bishy including three Jets. We got a five hour weather window before the wind and rain returned with a vengeance at 2. Return by Barrmill with mini-habble past Greenacres. I understand gloves are off from next week, full bhoona from Kilwinning. I am working on 4/1 but hope to join you later in the month. 2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted December 29, 2013 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted December 29, 2013 Ok thanks for letting me know. Weather looks like it might actually be ok from mid morn. Got a few things on but hope to squeeze in a few hours of hilly back roads. 2023 Subscriptions Gummers Posted December 29, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted December 29, 2013 I'll probably head out during day Paul taking in BB. My route will head out to kilbirnie then over hill to Largs. Should have 1-2 hours in me. Text me if you want to coordinate.
