Guest EPCC
An altogether splendid day on the bike I forgot how much I liked this run . However also forgot how much I had to drink last night end result was a bit of recycling at Helensburgh as Paul Colin and Iain disappeared into the horizon Would like to say I have learned my lesson no more white wine I think Also it may have been the banana anyway I recovers and got home before two brownie points
2023 Subscriptions thejanullrichdietplan Posted September 29, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 29, 2013 Yeah good day out, great weather particularly when you see what its like in Florence for the road race. Tough pace on the way back particularly with the wind - apologies for missing a few turns on the front was suffering a bit at times! this was the descending technique from the u23 champ that i mentioned (Matej Mohoric)
Richie Cross
Great day. Good pace for me. Pretty fast at times. Weather turned out beautifully! 103 miles on the clock so tired but happy. Well done to John for hanging in there....second wind in time for the home stretch, and Stewart who was stuck on the big ring...well done, but should've charged the battery first! 2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted September 29, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 29, 2013 What a brilliant day for late September. And a splendid run. Thanks to the 4 up train from Kilcreggan (Iain, Billy and a very strong Colin pulling ridiculously long turns) who got me back to bridge in time for 1.30 pick up duties! Even had time for a puncture repair at the north side of the bridge about 1 mile from my car.

stuartm
Battery now fully charged. Schoolboy error I think they call that. Should last a few thousand miles, but obviously now added to the 'things to do effort leaving the house' checklist. Thanks everyone for easing up a little on the way home. Colin McPhee
Great run today - some easy recovery now for me until the real training starts in November. Great descent into coulport which made the previous climb worth the suffering. Hope you're not too knackered Billy
Mark O
Cracking day. Some good miles put in the legs again. Tough head wind on the return. Thanks Chung for let me hang on your wheel for the run through town. Pretty spent by the time I did the climb up to Carmunnock. M
