Mark O
I'm intending to get out on Sunday. Full coast/Troon or the like would suit fine. Usual pace and rule. Half 9 from Miller St? M

2023 Subscriptions Gummers Posted May 2, 2013 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted May 2, 2013 Galston down to Troon? Venice café and back up through Stewarton and home? Like a team, 9am?
Mark O
Sounds good to me. Can someone sort out the sunshine and medesque temperatures. 9 bells for troon. See y'all there.

Richie Cross
So..it's Troon? Can someone remind me what route that is please? I'll either have some new found speed in my legs or they'll be gubbed. Ta

I'll either have some new found speed in my legs or they'll be gubbed. Ta Up Bowfield, along some of the worst roads in western europe to Troon then along a busy dual carriageway on the way home. Richie Cross
Cheers. I obviously don't pay attention because I've been on this route before but is it from Troon and along towards Largs? Potential bail out at Largs for me to keep Mrs C happy
Guest GEORGE DONNELLY
Ritchie, We don't go via Largs on way home, I'm afraid, but I'm sure we can come up with a route to accommodate you. I'm malleable, me.
Richie Cross
Thought you were only Sat and Mon George? No need for a route change...just had a blank on the route. Is it back via Kilwinning/Dalry/Kilbirnie way?
Guest GEORGE DONNELLY
Yes, think so. Didn't manage today so will be Sunday, Monday now.
Mark O
Ritchie, No busy dual carriageways involved. Outward half of Moscow run then onto Galston. Country roads down Monkton, then a hop over to Troon. Return via Dundonald, Crosshouse, kilmaurs, Stewarton and Lugton. Was out today and my legs are still gubbed so you'll have company at the back. I dont expect any sympathy or slack from them of a pale blue hue. I may bale for home at Stewarton or Lugton depending on the legs. See you tomorrow M

Richie Cross
Had a good run down to Troon. Was pretty windy at times but a favourable wind on the return. Felt good after Mallorca but unfortunately away for next Sun Cheers
