Paul,

Apologies I will not be able to race as my sore throat has now developed into coughing up some pretty funky stuff - hope this gives you enough time to get a reserve organised.

Feel reasonable otherwise so no probs bringing the grub/drinks and helping out on the day.

Paul,

It's looking like you're pretty well off for help so i dont feel so bad, but my plans have been changed slightly... I will still be coming along, and still available to help, but will have 4year old daughter on tow, so if you can think of anything I can do that doesnt tie me down too much, just in case...... sorry

Davie, Kay and Ian

Suggestion for Davie and Ian - why not swap duties - Ian on grub as he will need car with 4 year old, and Davie you can get an easy ride round as a spare marshall on a nice day? Post here ig you wan to swap please.

Kay - Barmill about 2-3 miles from end of cycle track at Kilbirnie. Can be checked out on google map. If you can make it great, always something to do - if you can't no worries and thanks for offering.

Start list went on Braveheart a couple of nights ago but will update again tomorrow night.

thanks

Paul

Richie Corner 4 about 200m from strip!

Marco - looking forward to seeing you bud

LATE REQUEST - after our flooding and moving out for a few months I do not have my bag of hi-vis vests any more. So anyone who has one could you bring it for the corner marshalls please. It is not mandatory, and the JWCC top is highly visible anyway but it gives a good impression if the police attend (as they sometimes do)

thanks

Hey all

An excellent promotion made possible today by the great team that is JWCC. 7 wheelers manage to ride and David Thompson showing signs of good form coming finishing 15th out of 77 starters with Barry not far behind. I'll let the others tell their tales and I'm sure Billy might comment on his position relative to Mr McCusker.

Weather - need you ask

Special mention to

Davie B - for food provisions

Jim D - for lead car and sorting out restart after crash incident

Mark O - for 2nd car and also sorting out incident

Corner marshalls - take a bow Mike F, Greg B, Davie B, Kay and Richie

Marco van W for timekeeping and finishing line

Ian McG and the delightful Erin - for helping out those who punctured :-(

Billy and Charlie for sign on administration

Kenny for bringing Richie and helping at sign on

Hope I haven't missed anyone - so much being done I lost track

Oh ya dancer !

Paul,

Doesn't sound great regards Bill. Hopefully his overnight is only precautionary and nothing is broken. Post an update if and when you hear anything further.

Also, I have a couple of numbers for you, given to me by Ian Anderson and his brother Alistair. Will get themover to you in due course.

Cheers

Mark

Latest on Billy posted by his daughter on Braveheart on Saturday night is

He's ok, no head injuries, but he is in Crosshouse Hospital with 2 fractured ribs, a fractured elbow and a fractured pelvis. He's going for surgery on his arm on Monday.

His spirit must be good as he's talking about making Majorca (vets racing) in September.

Oh ya dancer !
