Galeb

Club hill climb champs this morning Galeb. It's a whole club event, so all members are invited to come along to either participate or cheer their clbmates on, marvelling at their prowess on the short but nasty climb. Following the event, everyone is welcome to do their own thing.

A good solo blast at the end 

Oh and meant to say I should be there. Fast run back from Largs sounds good Galeb and Ian need to see though, the BB might sound better on the day.

I will probably join too and do somthing like Ian - a fast return from Largs.

Gave the full carruthmuir a go today on my own 4:09...14 secs off. Wasn't the best wind direction but I think its doable!

Another good solo effort. In the headwind towards Largs. With solo rides you tend to have lots of time to think. So thought I would give the Largs to Kilbirnie segment a go with an okish tailwind in some sections. Haylie - didn't go full out knowing there is still a long way to go after that. Top of Haylie - feeling good head down and into TT mode. Downhill section to Kilbirnie - legs spinning out aero tuck and then spin again. Second best...miles off KoM the guy who has it must have been flying up Haylie!

Going with the Houston to Netherton route as it is a bit shorter so gives more chance to finish before its getting dark. The climb is pretty hard so it's not an easier option just a shorter one

Yesterday with renfrew bunch we just went through Bishipton roadworks was only a small section that was closed.

Guys why 12mph it was cold and wet yet we cycled at 12mph FFS if this is what we’re going to be doing please let me know as I have no intention of cycling in a bunch that slow, and will go out on my own or go with Paul Galeb ( for a while) We are supposed to be the longer faster bunch , which is a stupid name for a bunch. But today we were the very slow boring cold bunch
