  1. Morna did make it afterall along with Boyd, Anthony Carol, me and a welcome return by Bill T.

Headed uo Bowfield hill to Lugton, Dunlop, Stewarton and then change of plan due to time constraints and windy conditions, went for coffee stop at Rendezvous  Cafe in Kilmaurs.

Returned via Torranyard, Barmill circuit to Beith and then back along track, with a tailwind and the sun out.

Thanks to Boyd for the route and the guys and girls for the company in what was the Real Intermediates group..

  2. Great run today with all kinds of weather thrown at us over in Cowal. Sun, rain, winds and steep climbs.

Four of us made the ferry crossing. Alan Fox, Elaine, me and newbie Alan who done really well on his first run out with a club.

After Gendaruel decent decided to chance going into the Strachur cafe as it was nearly empty. Must be new owners here as they were surprisingly cycle friendly.

After ferry crossing made our way up whin brae and Kilmacolm Road to Gateside Rd where Elaine met up with Ramsay to return to Beith for another 100 miles on the

    clock.

Thanks to Alan Fox for providing most of the work at the front.

  3. Forecast a bit mixed for Sunday but if ok plan to head to Argyll.

9.00am Clubrooms Miller St to head along track to Clune Brae and round coast to McInroys point for 10.30am  Western Ferry to Hunters Quay.

Options for others to meet at ferry for 10.30.  Buy tickets in Paul's grocers in Gourock Main Street as much cheaper.

After ferry turn right and head for Loch Tarsan,Glendaruel, Strachur, Lock Eck and coffee stop at Sheila's Diner..Argyll loop is approx 47 miles

Return to Ferry and retrace route up Clune or option of train if flagging !!

    Please post if coming out
