  1. This looks fun and I have the day off, any idea of the start of the route? Will it be the bridge? Will it be the ferry? Will I have to wait and and see?
  2. Amazing stuff. Would there be a chance we could have various stuff like this at our awards night we have done a lot as a club over the past year, just putting the idea out there...
  3. A great event with a fantastic turnout of great people. Well done to all of our riders, some of those juniors are quite amazing. Well done to the clearly very dedicated spectators for sticking it out in that weather. A big thanks to everyone running the event, it is all very much appreciated. Finally congratulations to Robbie.
  4. Great news, all of her hard work is taking her places now.
  5. I should be there, straight to work afterwards though.
  6. This thread has me worried that I do not strip down my bikes at least once a week.
  7. If no riders post up by 1700 then by default I suppose that this event is not happening. I will drink beer instead, the drink of choice for athletes around the world.
  8. I doubt I will be riding, but I will come along and timekeep, post up if coming.
  9. Possibly, I am coming down with something. Starting to feel a bit like a cyclist who does not ride with JWCC.
  10. Very nice evening for such a brutal burst if effort. Thank you to our holder uppers and time keepers.
  11. This is a bit like your neighbour’s cat doing their business on your back lawn. Action needs to be taken.
  12. Heading out on Monday morning for a ride. Coming the back way from Erskine via the Monkey House and I will be at the small roundabout in Houston for 0930. I have a wee route in mind keeping reasonably local and involves a cake stop in Lochwinnoch, should not be out too long. Graham and I met a new member, Carol, so it would be nice to see her.
  13. I will be lifting a lot of weight then.
  14. Thank you to Ian, Robbie and Scott for time keeping and holding up. Some decent times tonight, but still no sign of me knowing why I put myself through it.
  15. Yes it was me, purple is this year's colour. Just loved doing the whole tandem thing, if anyone gets the chance you need to give it a go.
  16. Yay! I think? I will be there, maybe with Amanda’s electric bike...
  17. Thank you all, for timekeeping, for holding up, for riding, for taking pictures. It was a lovely night to be out with the club.
  18. Graham and I will be on the tandem, but I do not know if it counts towards the club competition.
  19. “Once more into the breach(Houston roundabout), dear friends; once more..... Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood” I will vent last Tuesday’s frustration.
  20. I may make it, but it is in the opposite direction to work (the correct direction?). I will need to be next to someone who makes me look gorgeous.
  21. Thank you to David and that lovely new lady, Carol for timekeeping tonight. I do hope we see more of her out on a bike. A bit of a shame for Keir not getting a shot though. Good times all round, especially Joseph’s P.B., but I was not impressed at having to slow down for a queue of traffic behind a ****** tractor going into Houston. It is the game we play so hard cheese.
  22. I will be there, see if I have a good time in me somewhere.
  23. The luck is not on the side of Arran runs this year.
