  1. I've got family commitments again this week so can't make this run, it's always a good day out so I'm sorry to miss it.
  2. I now need to be back early, so will just go for a short solo run instead. But have a good time, and enjoy the good weather.
  3. Seeing as this is to be a slow pace (and both the proposed routes have good cafes) I'll be along for this one.
  4. Hi Paul, that sounds good, I'll see you at 10:00.
  5. I'm a complete novice when it comes to cyclocross, but would be keen to do this if I can make the times. I've got a gravel bike, should have the required kit.

    Monday 11th

I'll be along for this one, but may cut it short at Stewarton as I've other plans for the afternoon.
  7. Thanks for the wheels guys, my first time out on this ride - it gives me an incentive to do some training for next season!
  8. Just stopped in Bettyhill for coffee, great views of the beach, but can't see any surfers! A great day yesterday hoping for more today.
  9. 6 riders out on a breezy but dry evening, the results were: Joseph & Gerard 18:32 David C & Alan T 18:21 Paul L & Scott 16:34 Well done to all, and thanks to Ian A. & Carol for helping. 4 riders paid, Joseph (Jet) and Scott not paid, £12 transferred to club account.
  10. See you at 9:00, I was up Brisbane Glen during the week - it's just reopened after some bridge repairs, happy to go back but equally happy to go anywhere there's a good cafe and good weather!!!
  11. I'll come along and help with this one.
  12. I hope to be out, don't mind when or what destination....
  13. I'd like to do this sometime, but unfortunately can't make Tuesday. Have a great day.
  14. In a desire to travel light I've weighed everything I might take. The shoes and the 'winter' rain jacket are the heaviest items - and I don't think washing them is going to make them lighter! But I'm planning to indulge in a pair of trainers to walk to the pub in, and taking a fleece for the chilly evenings. I'm working on the basis that in the North of Scotland it can be winter weather all year round. I reckon I'm going to be last up the hills and last to arrive each afternoon, and therefore need more kit as I'll not have as much time to do washing. But the extra clothes don't weigh much.
  15. I'm looking forward to this, and will be at the clubrooms at 08:00, with lights fitted!
  16. Sounds good Paul, I'll see you at the bridge at 10:05
  17. There were five of us for this ride, dry most of the way out and wet most of the way back. Cafe great value! Thanks Boyd for posting the ride, a good day out, 60 miles for me by the time I got home.
  18. I'm going with the 30 milers to Eaglesham this week. It's due to be wet and I know there's a warm cafe. If it's dry I may add some miles after the cafe to get an intermediate distance.
  19. I plan to brave the rain and come out for this, if it turns out to be better weather than forecast I might take a scenic route back to add some extra miles.
  20. I'll be out for this one, it was a great day last year.
  21. By Dave's standards this was obviously a dry ride, but for me it was the wettest and coldest for some time. But it was good company and nice to get back to Jack's cafe. Thanks to Paul for posting the ride, I'm hoping for better weather next time!
