Kay10ant reacted to iain couttie in Cumbrae TT - Sunday 23rd June 2013
well what a windy day, it stayed dry. this was my first tt outwith the club. i managed 13th overall and 2nd in my section. i won money, a first! I had a good run but as usual i made it to the start just in time, was pushed of not clipped in, blasted it first few yards to make up time , untill i realised my HR was 190.slowed up and made it round, nearly threw up at the finish.Looking forward to next one.

Kay10ant reacted to Stanley Accrington in Sunday, 16th June - Intermediate Run (sort of)
An enjoyable run out with Boyd and Bill T along the coast to Largs via short detour to Skelmorlie; West Kilbride; Dalry; Kilbirnie; and back along the track where we met Mark O at Lochwinnoch. Lovely views over the Clyde,Ben Lomond etc. and plenty of sunshine. Thanks for the company. Anyone know the mileage?

Good bunch of 8 left Miller st and it was nice to go over some old roads for me on the way to the best village in the world See me? See happy?
Good company and i suppose i better include Stephen in that as well even after his derogatory comment about my Neilston he will be hunted down next time RSN (Real Soon Now).
Nice cafe stop at the local chippy before heading back out to the warm sunshine ( It always shines up there unless its snowing in July )
Now sitting with an ice pack on my calf and hamsting possibly 1 hill too many for me
Was it just me or was the pace higher than normal ?

Mrs M was 4th in the Stirling tri yesterday, with a PB at sprint distance as well. Frustratingly only 6 seconds off 3rd (and the big prize money!).

Good 50+ miles for the thirty milers!!! 6 set off from the clubrooms and headed to Kilmaurs. A wee detour around Ayrshire, over to Kilwinning and home. We were so quick, the cafe hadn't even opended in Kilmaurs so we had to wait unitl Lochwinnoch for a coffee!! A wee bit wet and very breezy, but a good run with great company.
Hope you made it back in good time Bruce and enjoyed your first run.

Couttie, shut it.
Good day out. Snowball fight in Brisbane Glen quickly got out of hand.
James, Greig & Andy (old enough to know better) were chasing each other about
with huge asteroid like lumps of ice & snow at one point.
Have some pics I want to post up but site denied me permission.

Perfect Tony - see you at 0915.
Billy - you're quite right I probably should participate in the confined event but at this stage of the year and having been out very little during the winter I need miles in the legs.
Iain - thanks for the supportive note and I agree with the sentiment : different people, different things....
Good luck to everyone taking part tomorrow....!
