Cold and windy day, but good fun none the less... tricky ride from Kilbirnie to Lochwinnoch on the track , plenty of slush and some icy bits too... did the rest of you go back on the track from Lochwinnoch, Jim and me decided on Johns Hill over the top to BOW, seemed like a more relaxing option ...

or there's the Bistro at the caravan site also, i'll find out if they do a snack menu....

I know a new Café Stop for that route.... the Green Kettle, just up from the roundabout at top of Garelochead, would mean doing the whole Peninsula loop first, but its only an extra 8 miles before the stop... last time I was in I had the best homemade soup ever....

Davie just noticed this, a few of us leaving from Bishopton at 9.20 heading round the Cloch to Inverkip, up to Loch Thom then up the Whin and some Renfrewshire miles with plenty of options.. time constraints at start and end of run dictating this, we will be at bottom of Clune around 9.40 if you’re looking for some company ...

Slight change for me on Sat morning, gonna head out a bit earlier and be back earlier as got nephew staying over and need to spend a bit of time with him before hitting the pub, Renfrew bunch will need to wait
