Let the madness commence ! Plan for 20th, weather being reasonable, is a standard SA, 0700 ferry, 0805 approx rubber on road, lap of island and back on 1105 ferry.
Just for info, there is now a 5th category, no one achieved it yet but there been attempts, the WSA, Winter Single Arran which must be winter timetable and winter bike

Unfortunately not, away on business. Watch out for Mr A, he was stomping in the bogs bunch last night

Thanks Alan, long story short - I did use etube and called helplines etc. Etube saw no fault and registered gear 1 when it was actually in gear 2 etc. Ultimately Dooleys put the diagnostic kit on and the rear mech has been diagnosed with alzhiemers. New one fitted. Old one 10 days left on 2 year warranty so that might be a stroke of luck. Unbelievably I have gone through 2 rear mechs in 3 years. Other than that Di2 is brilliant in my view.

Good to catch up and get a the first comprehensive kicking under the belt.

Urgent help required !
My Di2 seems to have lost its brain. So I tried doing the crash reset thing and it should cycle though the gears, however it is doing all sorts of random things even during the reset when you spin the cranks and it should cycle though the gears. When I activate the levers afterwards it can go in either direction! Tried disconnecting battery but that didn't work either ?!
Any advice very welcome
ps - Galeb I will be out on winter bike in the morning anyway

Gradual wind up to top of hill was good with exception of Alan who disappeared so suddenly I thought it might be a mechanical. And Westferry was indeed messy with enthusiastic and excited legs after a long winter. But hey thats part of the fun.

Yes, any chance of 9.30 depart?

Yip for 20th or 13th. Under trade descriptions act it is probably correct to note that average required is more or less 20mph once getting off and on the ferry are taken into account
Would be great to get more members into this exclusive club

enjoy Sam, I am away just now, maybe next time

Track league over for another year, good night to end in C group and Jan in B group showing some flashes of his last winter form.
In C's we had good JWCC presence with Sam 3rd in devil and 2nd in points. In the first scratch race we got a 1,2,4 with me getting the win and Sam and Stevie in p3 and p4. In the other scratch I was 3rd.
Roll on Arran challenges and Thursday night chain gangs

Nice one chaps, just back 1/2 hour ago from 26 hour journey and seriously considered coming up for 2nd hour, then sanity prevailed. That would just be silly but would be worth it just to sprint with Mr Archibald

Just back from long trip Alan so just gonna do the shorter bogs thing .... a bit for time constraints and a bit for packing up bike for 8 days in Tenerife next weekend just thought I'd mention that,

Entered, don’t know how things will be after very heavy week in Hong Kong but gotta give it a blast

Just to mention - a regular bogs bunch heading out Sunday
