Administrators Jannza Posted March 17, 2015 Administrators Report Share Posted March 17, 2015 The Girona Gran Fondo is back and promises once again to be an unforgettable week of cycling in the Catalan city of Girona. Some say this medieval old city and surrounding areas are the closest thing to a cycling theme park. With easy access from both Barcelona or Girona airports and high-speed AVE rail links from Spain and France, it’s never been easier to visit. Join us and find out why many Pro cyclists call Girona their base and home. Ride our twilight Nocturne event through the cobbled streets of the town. Test yourself against the clock on our infamous timed high climb to the Els Monsastery. And finally the main event our "Sportive" on the Saturday 20th of June when we once again ride the 125km loop taking every entrant on a breathtaking ride through the Garrotxa Volcanic region. All our events are punctuated with private meals and parties. We also have prize draws, guest riders, sports massage and much, much more. Don't miss out we only have limited spaces to register above and we will see you soon. In association with
Mark O
Perhaps an idea for a 2016 tour on the basis that a trip to Spain was seriously considered previously. Full club participation and not to be seen as the preserve of the main/fast/racing bunch. Thots???

Paul C
A definite maybe. Sportive is 78 miles (125 KM) so a good distance for me! Do they do OAP rates?
