Miller Street, Bowfield, Lugton, Dunlop, Stewarton, Kilmaurs, Auchentiber, Crosshouse, Gatehead, Dundonald and Troon. Cafe stop in Troon - venice cafe or whatever. Return via Kilmaurs, Fenwick, the A77 and on to Paisley/Johnstone via Barrhead. Steady pace now we are at the rump end of the season. As per my comments this time last year, with the far steadier pace likely to be the order of the day this is a good opportunity for riders wishing to try riding in the main to make the transition. Pace at this time of the year is forgiving (as it will be for a few weeks) and the route is not particularly challenging. Good opportunity to get into the main bunch and get yourself bedded in before the mileage increases. The speed will be steady until the turn of the year.
