Can we do fast on the climbs. I love watching the rouleurs suffer. No worries regards the return, will sit in if need be.

Oooh someone's changed their tune.

Not so long ago you threw your rattle at me atop the bowfield :)

Otter ferry road to t junction. Left for Strachur or right for C11.

G, the difference is that I'll stop and wait at the top. Tune not altered in any shape or form.

Definitely a change of tune or at least an octave higher :)

Fantastic day on the bike.

C11 is horridly horrible. Just tried to maintain forward motion.

The hill below it is a Tarmac horror too. 1st time I've had wheelspin in the dry!

We fairly motored along between climbs too. 21mph for an hour from strachur to dunoon then sitting at 27mph along the westferry.

That cafe in strachur is awful tho :(

Well done to mark & Tom for grinding it out too.

Ouch! That hurt today. Been a long time since I've been so spent. Main bunch has moved on again. Relentless on the flats and I'm well down on my climbing. That said pleased I hung on for as long as I did. Perhaps a shorter run would have been a better choice but what the hell. Sent Hugh on up the road at Renfrew as I was cooked by then. Surprisingly last couple of climbs home were not as tough as i expected. Need to get more bunch miles in my legs but a return of sorts has been made and I'm happy with that. Time to kick on now.

Fantastic day out. Cheers guys for making me work.

PS strachur cafe is officially pants. Was almost empty when we arrived and a couple sat for 10 mins without being served then promptly left.

Billy - I was on wife-pleasing duty (Mine that is).

In Holland Monday to Wed on biz trip so took Linda for a weekend. Very hot here 27 C.

Went jogging in the forest - running is so boring compared to cycling!!

Will be out for next weekend (hopefully on new steed that is currently under construction at local bike shop).
