Phil Malcolm
More hill climb boasting! 5th on this today 8:20 for the 2.9 km climb, winner was Ali Robinson in 7:32. I was convinced id done myself some serious damage at the end, a little throw up and tasting blood! Rams, you should get yourself down south for some of these, you'd clean up! 2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted September 25, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 25, 2011 Well done Phil. Great effort. (Been a lot of years since I coughed up blood, although it was a common occurence when I played rugby!) There are two more open hill climbs I'm heading for this year. Kingskavil (16th Oct) and the Scottish at Fairlie moor (23rd). If you are around you should give them a go. Cheers, R
Phil Malcolm
I think I'm celebrating my 30th on the 15th, so don't think that's a goer.... tempted by the Scots though. Can I ride it on a day license?
2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted September 25, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 25, 2011 Great stuff Phil If we could ever get a date organised I'm sure we have a bunch that could cream the Arran challenge now - even on winter bikes

Phil Malcolm
Classic from the Time Keeper at the end, admonishing me for not sprinting through the line after i'd chucked my guts up! More annoyingly, Robinson won on his lunch break. He had to sprint back to Keswick to open up the bike shop again as soon as he'd finished! Would love to try Arran again Paul.
