Colin H
DOH!!!!!!! Have already paid the £50 anyway Charlie. Was always going to anyway just for the effort but thought I might add a bit of spice by setting you a target Colin
Committee Alan McLean Posted April 11, 2011 Committee Report Share Posted April 11, 2011 And I meant to ask...did everyone ride on their usual bikes/wheels or were any stronger/stiffer purchases made for the event? Been waiting for some of the more sensitive souls in the bunch to reply to your post, Richie, to confess all but most of us just went with the bike 'as is'. Most important thing is to tighten all the bolts to stop things being rattled off the bike. Never seen so many bidons and cages lying at the side of the road. M Martin is being a wee bit modest here. His Colnago broke so he went round on a gas pipe (I know, I've got one) Ribble winter bike sans muddies. I reckon it weighed two or three kilos more than the race bikes the rest of us had. but you couldn't tell. Result, dude! A
