  1. A perfect day for cycling. A good few weeks lay-off really showed but still a cracking day with a cracking bunch. Fingers crossed all Sundays throughout the winter are like today.
  2. Hope to be out and meet you at the bridge.
  3. Sorry can’t make this weekend (again); family commitments; hopefully normal service will be resumed next week.
  4. As it happens, I bought a Garmin Forerunner 15 for my daughter yesterday on eBay for less than £30, normally retails new at around £70. Gives all the main measurements needed for running and you can add a HR if needed. Most importantly it will upload to Strava...
  5. Already introduced austerity cuts to pay for this years summer bike. Suggestion of quantative easing by redirecting pension pot funds for a CX is meeting some resistance from the household monetary coniitee.
  6. Working on the household Cheif Finacial Officer for sign off for a CX bike, tyres shoes, etc. Thought it was a blast and could see myself getting into it.
  7. Will join you but need to be back for about 5pm
  8. That is September weekend, so as long as the family don’t drag me off somewhere for a few nights away I’ll be there.
  9. I know a few were going to check in at the airport and just take what seat they are given. I've never flown with Ryanair without booking a seat and taking my boarding pass with me but it's not clear online whether they charge you for printing your boarding pass at the airport. Can anyone confirm one way or another? I've checked in, just in case, so this is a heads up for anyone thinking of just doing it at the airport desk as they may (or may not?) get a surprise.
  10. Great night - thanks to organisers, time keepers, holders and fellow riders
  11. Going to be riding with Ginty now as Joe unable to make it.
  12. Think I’ll wait until next Saturday before starting mine; I don’t want to peak too early
  13. Hope to be there with Joe Boyce, aka Team Bi-Tri
  14. Heading to Killcreggan via Balloch and the Haul Road with Iain Carvill on Sat 11th. Meeting at The Erskine Bridge at 9am if anyone wants to join us.
  15. Just too much power for the crank to handle as he went for KOM
  16. Will drop by to hold if needed.
  17. Charlie as no takers will just join you on Col d’Langbank tomorrow morning.
  18. Chatting with Charlie today and suggested a later start and heading out Strathblane way to catch some of the Euro Men’s TT going through. Times (men go off from Glasgow at 1pm) and route to be ironed out, just gauging interest at this stage.
