I particularly like the Mitchelton-scott videos. They do a wee video on every stage (I recently went back and watched all the giro and Veulta ones).

• There will be 7 events, all held on 'sporting' courses, which are undulating, hilly and sometimes technical in nature.
• The aim of the series is to encourage participation and recognise achievement while providing a focus for riders across the season. There is no extra cost or hassle for riders or organisers.

Quite like the look of the VC Glasgow South one - starts in Stewarton over to Fenwick up the A77 to Malletsheugh then over the quarry climb (opposite direction to the Sewing Bee) and back to Stewarton

cracking afternoon for Cedric today - i think it was couple of firsts plus also a third and probably a top 5 (maybe top 3). As for me nothing results wise but at least found it a bit easier than the last time i was racing so a bit of progress.

Chapeau Jan and Cedric, I'm sitting here thinking life is just too short to miss a track Saturday (and I just said the exact same thing on the bogs bunch )

I fell bad for never really knowing how Cedric has done other than ‘well’. I’m pretty sure he’s still top of the overall leaderboard unless the boy Kain’s bossing of the B group has bumped him to the top spot. 

Good fun tonight with me Stevie and Sam in C and Cedric in A.
Stevie 4th and me 5th in scratch, Sam had a touch of the dreaded flesh eating man flu and departed after a couple of races, Stevie and I scored points in points race but not enough to scare leaderboard, then I got 4th in devil which was very frustrating as I made a rookie error and thought there were 3 of us left and we were on the lap before the final sprint with one guy rolling round before pulling off, so cruised over line and got eliminated to end up 4th. 
 

 

Me, next week is pursuits night then no track league till January.

Stevie, I have fitted your 49 ring to try, thanks for the loan - not going to make track league as missed midnight deadline Thursday, emailed to plead case 5.30am Friday morn, have not had a reply.
 

Good effort Paul and Stevie. 
I should be back next week to give you a target to lap.

Lower JWCC representation tonight with Cedric me and Stevie. Cedric was in about it as usual in the A's. Stevie and I in the C's where there are 4 races. Stevie 4th and me 5th in first race, 2nd and 6th in next one (oh so close for Stevie, well done), Stevie got a sprint in the points but with some gaining a lap it might not be enough for top 5, in the final devil I was 5th. Enjoyed being in C's as I am only able to be at the thrashing and getting lapped end of the B's just now with work commitments getting in the way of cycling
 
 

All we need to do now is source a coach and we'll be sorted. 
If i can assist Charlie with anything just let me know. 

Entered, C's, to give it a try after another pure caning in the B's last night. 

 

My worst start to a season continues. Although i think tonight it was my head that let me down rather than my legs. I dont know if that counts as an improvement!
