Revenge is sweet! I knew Charlie was a one hit wonder! 
 
After having mudguard problems of my own it was great to see the Joansin waiting up and working together and catch the main bunch with ease - big turn out helped, think there were 9 of us - thanks guys. I think everyone made it up the Kilwinning drag only for all hell to break loose on the habble into Barrhead with attacks coming thick and fast. Iain Ulrich made a break before we even got to Neilston I think! Eventually came together for the sprint with Alan in the mix and Alex taking third again - a great effort. With four of us there till the end and honorary wheeler Lewis in there as well. Gubbed afterwards and thanks to Alex and Lewis for the wheel home. Great day out (weather included) - bring on next week!

Enjoyable night in the Bs - first up 42 lap points, didnt contest the first couple of sprints then bridged to a break which fell apart pretty quick but got a 4th in one of the sprints. Just followed wheels after that. Next was a 16 lap scratch, really fast pace from the gun and things were strung out and i was getting shouted at by someone for losing the wheel in front by the second corner of the first lap! Pace continued to be fast and after about 5 laps or so a rider had got a gap and i looked round and realised i also had a bit of a gap too so pushed on, eventually caught him and we worked together for a bit. Caught with about 3 laps to go and I end up leading out the sprint then going backwards. Was rather painful!
 
Last was the Devil, first out. My recent record in the devil is awful, i used to do pretty well in it but the last 3 are 1st out, 2nd out, 1st out. Alan put in a good performance here staying in for most of it.

Me. Ian don't go running up Munros before turbo class and the knees should hold out lol.

Ian there r worse things in life than getting a doing from an old man but just now can not think what they could be. Great day for me hung on till the end and that's a first

I think we should be more concerned with the fact there were no saltires or blue face paint today pace was very good from Largs onwards (albeit with a slight tailwind), much more consistent pace with stronger riders taking longer turns & those suffering still managing to contribute at the front.
