Hi all,
I am looking for a 26" mountain bike rear wheel. Needs to be for rim brakes and be capable of taking an 8speed shimano cassette.
Doesn't need to be in great condition, but as long as it runs reasonably true.
Thanks,
R

For Sale - Concept 2 Model D PM3 Indoor Rower
Very good condition Concept 2 Model D indoor rower, with PM3 monitor. Also comes with rubber floor matting, user manuals, rowing workout sheets, chain oil, additional seat rubber and all cables, CDs etc., as shown.
The rower can stand vertically and the seat rail very easily detaches for easy storage/transport.
This is one of the best and most popular indoor rowers in the world.
Was bought from Tony Carrigan a few years ago and has seen very little use due to injury.
£650 ovno.
Please PM me for more details or for viewing.
Thanks,
Ramsay

Not been online much lately, but really sorry to see that Steve Abrahams was knocked off his bike by a moped and has badly broken his ankle. He is hoping to try and keep going somehow, but......
An American guy Kurt Searvogle is giving the same record a really good bash at the moment. 19k miles and counting.

Well done all. Looked like a cracking day to be on a bike.

Was hoping to be along to help out, but now can't make it.
Hope all goes well, have fun.

Hi Paul,
As others have already said, welcome to the club.
In answer to your question, yes, keep an eye out for details of club runs that have been planned. If the weather is good, there are usually a few different bunches going out.
The meeting place is mostly always at the clubrooms, Miller Street, Johnstone. When you turn up, just introduce yourself and find out which group you are planning to go with. If you haven't ridden in a bunch before, then let someone know, and they will go through a quick few pointers (it is really easy, but need to remember signals and calls).
Enjoy and I hope you get your bike fit sorted.
Cheers,
Ramsay

Had a quick look at his website and Strava. There is actually someone at the moment that has done more miles than him so far this year on Strava, although his plan is to build up miles as the weather/daylight increases.
My good years used to be about 6500miles!!
Good luck to him.

Phenomenal effort if he can do it, as Tommy Goodwin was an absolute legend. If I remember, he also set the fastest 100,000miles.

Would love to make a proper comeback as I still really miss racing and club riding, but not going to happen. Happy to be able to do a couple of hours though.....especially when the sun is shining.
