If anyone still needs added to this group then message me with your mobile number. We will breathe life into clubs runs over the coming weeks and we need everyone to take part.
Can you add me please

Hi Ramsay
i used Speedplay for years. Very easy to clip in and out. The new walkable cleat covers are a nice improvement. I changed because they were quite high maintenance, and expensive.
You might consider Time Espresso. V light; good value, v easy to clip in and out.
Or, you might try SPDs - maybe go high end such as XTR. By far the easiest pedal to use, and very robust. Higher end versions are also very light.

Great. I’ve replied re time.

Thanks Kenny. Send details please and I’ll have a think. Ideally I just need a frame as his current bike (which is also a triton) is kitted out with nice stuff, which I intended to swap over.

Hi folks
I need a new (2nd hand) frame for my son, Robbie. Carbon or alloy, as long as it’s not too heavy and race type geometry.
He’s about 5’10 so I’m thinking a medium or 54-55 top tube.
Im not looking for high end expensive stuff though. Just a decent 2nd hand race frame for a still growing lad.
Let me know if you’ve something that fits the bill that you’re willing to part with.
Cheers

I know but needing another long term reason to keep training
I know what you mean. Feb/March was a good motivator. Hopefully we’ll be able to get outside properly before then - make some plans to keep in shape for.

Shame about the RGT subscription. Is the free version any good, a decent change from Zwift maybe?
As for the ultra, I’ll keep an eye out for developments 😅

Sounds good Alan. Thanks 🙏

Hi Paul
No direct experience yet, but I have been looking at it. You need to download 2 apps and there is a free version with reduced functionality. Arran and other classic routes would be good to do on this. Either as a group or solo.
Cheers

Hi Davie
One never knows what to say when you hear news like this. And, others have said what I want to. But, soon as you get the E-bike (or before if you can), give us a shout. You have been a core member of the club for many years, and I have many great memories of riding (and drinking) with you. Attached are a few photos of those times, and I’ll send any more I come across.
My thoughts are with you in this difficult time.Darryl

Hi Davie
there is an album of LBL photos on my Facebook wall. Take what you want.

That would be grand Mark. In the meantime I think Alan T is organising a social Zwift ride on Boxing Day. Sounds like it could be fun.

I just wanted to wish our members all the best for the festive season, and beyond. It’s been a strange old year. Let’s hope we can get back to some semblance of normality in the new year.
Cheers and best wishes

Hi
Steady Sunday run on Zwift starting at 10am. First 50k @ 2.5 w/kg or so. Habble for last 10k for those who want to indulge.
If you have not already received an invitation and you would like to join, follow me - Darryl Gunson - on Zwift.

Hi Folks
There is a JWCC ZWIFT ride tomorrow at 10am.
it is 61km around Le Petit Boucle in France. There will be no sticky but the aim is to keep the group together by riding at 2.5 watts/kilo. The last 10km will be a bit faster than that!
If you would like to join, and are happy with the speed, but haven’t received an invitation, please follow me - Darryl Gunson - on Zwift and I’ll send you an invitation to join.
cheers
thanks DG
