Richie Cross
Saw Strava. Quite glad I didn't come along on this 'easy' ride!

2023 Subscriptions James Posted October 3, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 3, 2016 Good company & and good run, even though it was back into a headwind. One way to get rid of a hangover!!
2023 Subscriptions Gummers Posted October 3, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 3, 2016 Great run albeit a tad cold to be wearing shorts. Excellent location for coffee stop too. Seemed a bit harsh that the staff held Alex down and force fed him lunch and breakfast simultaneously and then refused to serve me a second cappo. Good company too! 2023 Subscriptions EricL Posted October 3, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 3, 2016 Enjoyed that ride (good post Billy), bitterly cold early on and stayed pretty chilly until climb out of H'burgh but once in Glen Fruin and beyond the day turned to glorious sun, at times we rode above and through the mist. Picture postcard views down the Clyde from Coulport and Cove. Mechanicals (dropped chain) nearing the top of two separate climbs set me back but thankfully the bunch waited. Worked hard in the pacy (for me)' through and off' which certainly helped 80 miles pass quicker, legs felt the difference last night and after a short spin session today would be happy to go again! Agree with comments above, nice coffee stop and good company. DavidC
