2024 Subscriptions Darryl Gunson Posted May 12, 2014 2024 Subscriptions Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 If you are not TTing or Renfrew bunching and fancy a run tomorrow evening, I will be heading out at 6 for a couple of hours in the direction of Stewarton and Neilston. Company welcome. Will be at bottom of Bowfield at 6.
Mark O
Daryl, was planning a Tuesday evening ride myself. 6.00 too early to allow me to escape the shackles and get home and organised - not riding into work. Could meet up around half 6 around barrhead or Paisley. Stewarton, Garnock Valley and track back to Paisley was in my mind. Briskish pace if my legs are recovered from Arran. 2024 Subscriptions Darryl Gunson Posted May 12, 2014 Author 2024 Subscriptions Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 Can you get to Paisley for 6.30? Say Thomsons shop? Up past Robertson car park and head for fenwick then A77. You could bail at Mearns and I will head for Neilston. Any good? Mark O
Sounds good Darryl. I'll arrange an early depart from the coal face to minimise traffic chaos at 5. M

Paul C
Darryl, Tuesday is my usual run into Ayrshire. What time you leaving home? Could meet you at traffic lights in Elderslie. We could go long way round to Thompsons via Foxbar, Glenburn and down Neilston road. Darryl Gunson

Mark O
Great wee ride. Good circuit offering a variety of terrain. The climb at the start woke the legs up and the rolling roads to Fenwick keep you on your toes before flats and descent of the 77. Thoroughly enjoyed it tonight. Legs suitably tired now. 2023 Subscriptions thejanullrichdietplan Posted May 13, 2014 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted May 13, 2014 Good ride tonight enjoyed it. Although maybe not the descent of the braes at the end as a deer darted across the road just metres in front when we were going about 40mph! Mark O
Intend doing a variation on this theme every Tuesday, sunny or not. Considering track to Kilbirnie and then over to Stewarton and taking the reservoir road to barrhead/mearns next week. Could meet either Paisley or Miller St depending on route. Paul C
Phew! That was a good workout! 59 miles at brisk pace. Worked much harder than if I had been out for my usual midweek solo run. 20 PRs on Strava!!!

Mark O
Ginty, We met at Thomsons, up the braes and over to Lugton. From there Dunlop, Stewarton and Fenwick. A77 up to Philmuir Rd. Paul and the other headed for Barrhead and Paisley while dropped down to Eastwood toll. Fairly sharp pace all evening. Great fun. ginty001
