DavieB Posted February 5, 2013 Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 Seems to be a bit of inconsistency...last couple of years mine has went to the club sec, which I assumed was BC policy - however this year it was sent direct to my home which is obviously much handier for me. 2023 Subscriptions martin Posted February 5, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 BC policy is definitely to send to the club secretary, but obviously if you're not in a club they send it out to you directly. Have you asked Jann if she's got it? BC will also email you a temp licence (valid for 14 days or so) if you contact the membership dept. I think the only benefit of putting down a club on the application form is for juniors to get the first year free. Is that right or am I missing something? The 1st license BC sent me never turned up. Neither Ian Manson nor Jann got it. I called BC and they despatched a duplicate to Jann which she forwarded to me with stunning allacrity. Hey, my remark was not meant as a criticism of Jann. I am sure Jann will let me know when the licence arrives. Just don't see the point of them going to the Sec unless BC are trying to save postage.
