  3. Hi, This Saturday 29th October. "This year's Ride will again be supported with a rolling closed road near-side lane provided by East Ayrshire Council. We will use the routes of last year of 24 miles and 52 miles that takes in some of the attractive scenery on offer throughout East Ayrshire. Leaving Kilmarnock, the route travels to Galston, Newmilns, Sorn, Muirkirk, Auchinleck, Catrine back to Galston and retracing the outbound route to Kilmarnock. The event entry fee will include a food voucher for pasta & a hot or cold drink." entry here: http://www.braveheartfund.co.uk/EventEnter1_SelectRide.asp I know that there are some J Wheelers riding. 14. Callander Cycle Challenge 2016 offers choice of 3 routes. Most of the routes are off road or along quiet back roads in this beautiful part of Scotland. Check in is at the Callander car park opposite the Dreadnaught Hotel. Route 3 Callander to Killin – 50 miles Starting the same as Route 1 & 2 but from Stratyre pick up the new cycle route at the bridge in Strathyre and follow the path to the Kingshouse Road, picking up the cycle route. Follow the cycle path up above Lochearnhead and into Glen Ogle. The route continues up Glen Ogle with spectacular views down the Glen from the former railway viaduct. At the top of the Glen cross the road and follow the forestry path down into Killin. Remember if you go down into Killin you have to cycle back up. Take time to view the falls in Killin before returning the same route. You do need to be a seasoned cyclist and fit for this route. http://www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk/get-involved/join-an-event/callander-cycle-challenge-2016#
  15. Hi Alan, Sorry to hear about this. I will get it reported. James
  16. Well done Alan! it was an excellent course and a whole lot of fun. I found the ground quite firm which suited my higher pressures and was pleased to beat Mike and just missed being lapped by Alan. Took a long while before my feet thawed out.
  17. I will be there and I think Mike Ferguson is also booked in for it.
  18. Hi All, Happy to come along and will meet everyone at Amaretto's at 9.30. Cheers, James
