I was also thinking of Troon.

Hope Mark has recovered enough from his crash last night.

Numbers depend on how many will be allowed out two days in a row (Georgetown Cup on Sat)!

I can probably remember most of the route having done it twice before.

Hi Stuart

This is from a few weeks ago from Darryl's posting.

http://connect.garmin.com/activity/204353037

On hills everyone climbs at their pace and we regroup at the top or some designated point. The last section along the top of the Haylie down into Kilbirnie is not normal, as we decided to go through and off. ie. no time at front - basically the same as a Thursday night eyeballs out routine. It doesn't usually happen, it just did that time.

The rest of the ride was pretty standard.

Mamil as in-middle aged man in Lycra.

From memory the Troon run is fairly flat so you shouldn't have to wait for the rest of them at the top of hills

As for the main bunch, 85% of them are sociable 96.4% of the time.

12% are Leo

19% are Jedi

28% are Nihilists.

(uploaded from my Garmin 3000GTI.)

Myself & Chung waited on the 2nd puncture victim. By time we got going again

Billy, Tom & Alberto McPhee had split.

Headed off with Tony, Chung & Bill but nipped that in the bud when Tony took

us on a pothole quest.

Bumped into 30 milers again so rode with them for a bit b4 heading off to stretch my legs.

55 miles.

Heading off to Turkey for a fortnight next Saturday so see y'all end of September.

George ;-)
