Leaving Thursday at 6am and returning Sun night at 10.00pm. Intention is to cycle all four days. George HincapieHill ,Salvador Dali's summer residence etc. Happy to increase the size of the bunch if anyone interested. Still to sort out accomodation but will wait a wee while till I know final numbers. Return flight just now is just under £50 but you have to add a booking and admin fee bringing it nearer to £70. 2023 Subscriptions gregbalden Posted August 4, 2010 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 4, 2010 I am interested, but taking my bike was something i did not want to do, so i emailed Girona cycle centre http://www.gironacyclecentre.com/ and they said ...  "The rental bikes we have chosen are Cannondale Six full carbon bikes with Shimano 105 triples. Unfortunately we do not offer Campag on our bikes. The rental price for four days is 90€ per bike, including helmet, puncture repair kit, pump and lock. All our road bikes come without pedals. You can either rent SPD pedals from us at 5€ per set or we will be happy to fit your own pedals to the bike."  this sounds good and works out about £75, I would also not take the offer up on a helmet to try and reduce this price and bring my own.  Before i make any rash decisions though i will need to make sure i can get my shifts cleverly places around the days so i can go.  Greg Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He has confirmed that the cannondale shop found by greg is the one to use. He knows the guy so can sort out bikes. I need to give Steven a note of final numbers. The definites I have noted are as follows.
