Tha last of the Club's Competitions for this year

Starting at 10am sharp.

Who will unseat Jim Daly as the Club's Hill Climb Champion

Jim's time last year, on a fixed if I remember, was 1min 42secs

The club record of 1min 22secs was set in 1988 and is still held by Graeme Herd. What's the odds on anyone getting near or even beating it?

Categories, as always, will include :- age related , weight categories and special novice award for our new members and much more.

The route is on the following link for those who haven't been out secret training on the hill http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-ki ... /166751303

Thanks guys.

Have got a few more photos on the link below. Lots of people missing I'm afraid (especially the Jets), as they were going so fast it was blurred! A few of the photos are slightly blurred anyway, which I think is the camera setting and not the photographer (my lovely wife!!). :-?

Alan - Not quite sure whether to be more offended ( ;-) ) at the suggestion of me paying off the timekeepers, or my likeness to a known drugs cheat!! I can assure you that I didn't bribe the timekeepers and the only performance enhancing products I used were four Weetabix and two poached eggs on toast (breakfast).

Thanks again to Kenny, Kenny and Martin for timekeeping and holding/pushing off.

Cheers

Ramsay
