Not 100% but will try and make it.
DavieB - a trip into the dark side and you aren’t 100% sure. Thought you’d be leading the charge - lol

Should be there; may need to roll through Largs as need to be back for 1’ish
-
Down South for Christmas unfortunately.

Yes.
Marriage is overrated anyway.

Flying back from Lanza on the 29th so can’t make that date. However, go with what works best for everyone and if I can’t make it there’s always next year.
-
Week before Lanza so I better save my legs otherwise I would have joined you Darryl. Enjoy

I'm flexible with dates. Would prefer about 4 nights as opposed to a full week but will go with the flow.

I thought I’d pull together an approx. cost for this trip to sell it to the Clark Households' Chief Financial Officer
Flight £250 - Jet2 not including a bike box.
Bike Hire £80 - I think I would go for this option as almost as cheap as paying for a bike box and without the hassle of having to build and dismantle your bike and the risk of damage in transit.
Transport to and from airport £25 - I have based this on getting a bus to collect and return all of us in one vehicle. Based on 10 people sharing a 16 seat bus with driver, which may be easier than lots of individual cars (and less arguments of who’s gone where and why) and may work out the same price as car hire.
Accommodation £200 - lots of hotels for less than £50 per room pn. Following the Pyrenees this year, it would be better if we were all in the same place and I’d prefer a room to myself. Lots of AirBnB for roughly the same price if you wanted to self-cater.
Total approx. cost £555 - not including food and the occasional beverage

Picking Iain McGinty and Carvill up at 4:45 so should be there for just after 5

Well, I may as well pop my Renfra’ Bunch cherry at the weekend and see if I can hang on to the top of the Col D‘Bishy.

Up for this.
Ditto to what has already been said; just simply a brilliant day. Agree with Martin that this would make a great ‘whole club run’.

Sunday 6th Jan
in Sunday Run - Faster / Longer Bunch
Posted
Hope to be out if I can get the winter bike sorted; if not may need to be the summer bike and sit at the back (no change there then...) if that is ok with the Faster / Longer Bunch committee.
