Myself, Glen Irving, Alan McMillan, Jaki Robson and Phil ( Glen's pal) met in Georgetown and headed over the bridge down towards Helensburgh where we stopped for an excellent roll and a coffee in the Square before tackling Sinclair Street, then a nice casual run back home. Hope you had a good cycle Tony

thanks Karen, I was going to meet you guys but had committed to 9am at the clubhouse in case somebody turned up, a new chap Stuart was there so I went with him to Kilmarnock , Stuart peeled off from there so I went to the Greenock cut, gourouck,port Glasgow and home via Kilmarnock.

Cheers Karen but I have to drop daughter at work for 9 so going to struggle. Probably head out a bit later for a couple of hours.

Good run and ended up a cracking day for a cycle. Thanks to Alan and Ramsay for fixing my broken chain and contrary to belief I was actually sitting on the saddle spinning a low gear when my chain broke as standing on the pedals whilst changing gear would be a schoolboy error

good run today and frost free, almost warm!. coffee and cake a Whitelees wind farm. assisted with a fallen rider on the way home and past a very tired looking Dave Cathcart on the cycle path.

Jaki, Karen, ross, Joe and myself heading down to largs via the Brisbane glen road. quick stop at the bagel basket and back along the coast road. We passed the main bunch just outside largs and then had 4 unscheduled stops. 1 for a puncture and 3 for services at war memorials, at wemyss bay, inverkip and gourock. We all removed our helmets at gourock and inverkip as a mark of respect.
A very wet but enjoyable day, with all working at the front.- well done guys

Group of seven left clubrooms, Jaki, Kaz,Eric,Alan,Anthony,Graeme & Dave. Felt like a headwind most of the way to Helensburgh but views and light was good. Anthony left us here and the rest headed up Sinclair Street and made good progress to Balloch and Corrie Cafe for rolls, eggs and coffee and then more coffee.The girls left first  with the plan for the rest of us to catch them up but despite a fast chase we could not catch them. Thanks for the company.

Thanks to all for their assistance on Sunday, worst mechanical day out ever for me!! Cheers to Chung, Alan and Paul and of course my wife who had to collect a soaked husband from Morrisons!!!
