Jan I think your right , we are probably pushing our luck a bit going over bish hill then fairly rapid down and round onto A8 I think we should neutralise that part of the run and once on the A8 unleash hell or at least unleash something, I think a few don’t want to get dropped at the start of the West Ferry witch tends to push the speed and effort up before the roundabout. Also to annoy Charlie short cut = no points

Is that weekend not the date of your clubs 25 m TT, and is it not part of your rules/ constitution that all members help out at one event , and from memory you need a lot of marshals for the 25 on the West Ferry. Thats if it’s being run

Why carry hire a van and driver , makes it so much more enjoyable, planning on a long ride 2020 maybe LeJog or Channel to the med or Atlantic to Med or London to Geneva

So if you go with groups , Question 1 who is in the faster group? Question 2 Which group goes first , Question 3 How do you move from group 1 to 2 and finally Question 4 Who decides who’s in which, and based on what criteria? Why not just hammer it along the West Ferry and see who’s left standing, that usually splits the group, then hammer it into and out of Kilmalcolm that would split it , popularity brings additional problems

You will find with most it’s egos, yet more than half take the short cut , funny thing egos
