4 weeks to Ironman Wales
Went out today and did Rosneath peninsula 80mile avg speed 18.2mph.
Straight off bike and did a 16.5 mile run avg pace 7:55 per mile!

Nice one Ross. Impressive consistent effort throughout. Can't imagine why you'd want to do this just for the sake of doing it. Were you having a wee lie down followed a fish supper in transition?

PS any running tips going?
Got an ironman in six weeks so needed to have a run through! Transition are at ironman pace to get all foods and stuff ready!!
Just put one foot in front of the other and repeat! To go faster just go quicker and remember to breathe 😀

MILLPORT CHALLENGE!
6:45 ferry which gets in at 6:55!
Next ferry is 7:30, so one lap of ten flat miles avg pace 17.1mph!
Might need some bodies to sacrifice themselves over the first 5 miles!

Today as the sole entrant in this totally made up event I successful won by miles and set a new course record!
Total time - 5 hours 17 mins!

Guys thanks very much for the offers of bikes!!! Very generous!
Unfortunately after I phoned wife saying bike is fooked she went and booked a trip to see her Greek relatives in Norfolk!!! So am away to smash plates for the weekend!!! If I have put people out money wise for camping pods I still don't mind paying my share! Sorry guys I know you were really looking forward to my top banter!
Might take offer up for DA if bike is still broke!!!

From my needed post in the for sale section my bike is fooked!!!!!! Not unless I shell out big money's for new chainset so scouring eBay just now!!!!
