Nice run, thanks for the route Paul. Scone and Coffee was lovely although David Cs Milshake, Icecream and Cake won the day!

Thanks to Paul for the route today and the rest for the company especially Paul L for pacing us up the Crow, a first for me. Longest run of the year so far and legs turned to jelly along Georgetown Road which seemed to have lengthened to about 10miles.  Dave.
PS Really need to get my own profile.

An excellent run. It stayed dry!!
Boyd, Emma, Paul L, 2 x David C and me headed over the bridge,
Boyd peeled off before Killearn as he had to be back early.
Paul introduced us to a new cafe in Fintry - The Courtyard - nice!
Only mechanical was my front derailleur coming loose which was quickly fixed.
Colin H caught us at the end the bridge on his way back from Kilcreggan and pedalled with us to the end of GTown Road.
As usual a solo slog back to Lochwinnoch into the wind but 81 miles in the bag.

Thanks for the wheels today! Apologies for holding you all back. Couttie is banking up quite a few miles of drafting which will be repaid by 2050

Combined 30 milers and intermediates bunch (about 16?) set off from Miller St. At the crossroads at Hall the Troon bunch comprising me, Emma, Alan F, Ross, David C, Graham and Len  went on ahead and picked up Chung at Stewarton.
There was no sign of Ritchie!
A brisk dry run to Troon with a cafe stop at the Blueberry.
A brief shower had us huddling in the doorway until it passed (rule no 5 was not enforced!)
Not so lucky later on. As we were passing the MOD depot it started to rain hard and the roads were flooded in places.
A good run nevertheless and I hope those who had further to go survived the downpour!!

Well, the mash-up "LBL" today certainly had the making of the original - weather wise at least anyway!

A very decent bunch size of 10 of AlanT, AndrewD, Bill T, Boyd, David C, Emma, Iain JanUlrich, Paul C, Rennie & myself headed out from the clubroom this morning that was rather cold & windy but at least the sun was out occasionally, so can't complain too much.
Keeping to our planned route but no sign of Dr. McLean along Bishy or Westferry, hope you're ok Alan?

As we turned inland after Port Glasgow onto the climb up to Loch Thom, we caught the folks doing the Lochwinnoch 100. Never have I seem so many cyclist heading up the climbs, even though it was a mixture of road machines & mountain bikes.

Splendid view along the way to the top but the wind was fairly blowing, at this point we were ambushed & caught by Campbell H (who seemed to came out from no where to surprise us) The wind made hanging about not feasible hence a quick decent down to Largs for a warm shelter in the BB, where upon Graham was already waiting for us tucking into his orders :-)

Back up to West Kilbride at least with a sort of tail wind made it better but hail in Dalry was not pleasant at all, apologies to folks for my lack of directional clarity at this point, which meant we had to do an un-necessary wee detour, oops!

Anyway, all back home safely (I hope) and with great company & roads, it was very enjoyable for me today. Hope it was the same all round.
Thanks for the wheels guys & girl and hope to see youse next week if I can't get an entry into doing the Drumlanrig on Saturday.

    Cheers
