Good run today as mentioned above and not forgetting Ken joined us until up the Bowfield hill. Rest carried on to Dunlop Dairy where it it was the first time I have seen cheeseboards taken as a coffee stop. Thanks for the company guys and girls and hope for similar weather in weeks to come. Dave

Alan. I am actually the 30milers Run Captain, but flirt between both. Anyway was thinking of heading back to Dunlop Dairy for a coffee stop. Route would be Bowfield Hill, Gateside. Barmill, Auchentiber, Bloak Road and branch off left to Dairy. Could return via Dunlop, Lugton, Beith, Lochwinnoch and possibly Johnshill to Bridge of Weir making it approx 45 miles. Sensible pace, regroup at hills etc and lots of bail out options to shorten: suitable for all.

Hi, lovely weather here today, supported Karen on hill climb and going to cheer at 2 up TT. Please check if you are planning to travel by train tomorrow as there are engineering works planned.

Thanks Alan for arranging a great day out  quite nackered but worth it for good company and scenery also loved the diner Harry Haws. 
We will look forward to the 3 island challenge next year.

Well done to all and thanks for your support - really enjoyed the company and  pedalling through some beautiful parts of our country.
Just remember that you have all completed the second stage of the Johnstone Wheelers island challenge- more discussions at the 90th dinner

A great day out on a great island with some great members of  great cycle club.  A bit of a slog back to the car against the wind and then I took Beth back to Partick, getting home over two hours later than expected.  Beth is looking to get out more often so it looks like the Serpentine did not put her off.

Good company, good food, a few hills and a stiff breeze. Nine of us went round the island and nearly all went up the Serpintine before a feed stop and the ferry back. The ferry diversion to Gourock added a bit of interest, as well as some miles for those with a car at Weymss Bay! I hope everyone got home OK.

Entered the novice race again.....you are allowed to if you basically don't race anywhere else. Carol & Dave
