Super hard. Think I was the very last rider to finish but we will see. Start was terrible and after being taken out by a rider who then landed on my back wheel and dislodged it Im pretty sure I was the last rider on the course. Chugged round getting muddier and slower and was completely done by the end. Think Il get some good summer training done next year and be back for some more with it more in mind. David

I didnt finish the first lap, punctured . I blame the "lucky" number I was wearing. Il be at Meadowmill and Auchentoshan but not sure about Mull weekend. David

I cycle along the Georgetown Road on my way to uni and I have seen an increase in lorrys but so far I havent had any bad experiences from them. If this changes I'm sure you will hear about it. Cheers David

Cheers for the advice. Was very confused after reading an article on another forum . Both my road and winter bikes are sloping tubes so thats for showing me that, didnt know he made CX bikes, pretty good price for the equipment too. Disc brakes legal? Going to go look about the local bike shops in the next few days but now I have a much better understanding. David

Looking into buying a CX bike. Heard that it should be smaller than your road bike. Can anybody confirm this or what size I should start to be looking at. I ride a 58cm on the road. Cheers David

Yeh the Ribble Stealth is great and I have compleatly no complaints. Although I had a few problems with carbon I think its great and if you can afford it then enjoy. David

Will hopefully be there too. Will bring money from 2up champs as well to give to someone? Cheers David
