  7. Tough today. Wore my fancy new goretex top.Noticed I was only one wearing a waterproof probably cos it causes u to overheat. Any way at Largs carried on route with Andy G & Iain McTavish. Met remains of bunch on West Kilbride Dalry road. Rapid run in to Dalry then got spat out on hill in to kilbirnie. Got track to lochwinnoch and heavens opened which was great as my waterproof top came in to its own. Stopped at castle Semple for a coke and coffee then back home. On plus side goretex top is totally waterproof but not good for a bunch run when your heart rate is hitting 173 paul hope u feeling better
  8. Leaving BOW for Renfrew 9.25 am
  9. I had bought the super dupa goretex rain jacket. Wore it to inchinnan as a bit of light rain and it was perfect. Decided weather was brighter so put it in my back pocket where it remained while I got a good soaking in to Largs followed by a drop in temperature on way to Kilbirnie. Had to wait ages before my feet were warm enough for a shower. Was certainly a fast lick to Largs
  10. leaving BOW 9.25 am for Renfrew

  17. Billy & Paul thanks for your input and Paul your offer of help is noted. George think Billy & Martin have answered your points but u r right we do require a volunteer to do checks. There lies the rub
  18. Alan sorry if u only show this morning. There was a drum up at Loch Eck today & most of bunch went to that. 19. I attach message I posted on bike box thread. hoping to make more use of our club rooms so ideas/ costings for turbos broadband/ swift packages all welcome. Volunteers for researching best options ? Looking also to set up a steering group for maintenance of equipment & maintenance workshops. Again looking for volunteers Thanks to all for bike box suggestions . At AGM last night the majority view was that purchasing bike boxes was not the best use of club funds therefore that plan is back on the shelf. However it has been agreeed that we carry out a costing for installing broadband at club rooms and a costing for fixing existing tacx flow turbos & purchasing turbos equipped for power. I will open a thread for this. Also looking for volunteers for maintenance of our bike equipment and to introduce more bike maintenance workshops. A number of members have shown an interest in this and again can be discussed on thread and hopefully we will get some working groups in place to take these ideas forward
