  1. Early days here, but talking about taking a Jets party to Flanders.
  2. MIA this Sunday. Going to join ride captain Gavin and his Brewdog club in Edinburgh (a real thing, apparently). Beer is implied.
  3. Cheers for the wheels and beers on Sunday. Another cracking JWCC production. Proper club this, riders dropping back to look after the less able once again. Cheers Alan and Darryl for doing the needful this week (after Cedric's welcome hand on the back on the Clune last week). PS never realised I am taller than Charlie. PPS stealing the photie
  4. If I'm around this weekend I'm up for that. But I think we've only been over the bridge 4 weeks out of 5? Makes a change from the BB surely
  5. Wish I could remember who I loaned mine to, great read.
  6. Kenny has confirmed he will send licence. You are still listed as jw on BC and licence, feel free to sign up for another year
  7. Will ask Kenny to do so. Good to see you having fun on the bike Scott.
  8. Kenny received it from BC on Thursday. Has UK address. What would Scott like done?
  9. Kenny Steele is outgoing club sec. I know he is still receiving mail.
  10. No sweating, as the gentlemen of the main bunch allowed me to sit in all day. Took the occasional foray to the front when there was a chance of casual spectators but made sure only to glass crank it while there. Fabulous day out, the Moretti tasted just fine back at the sponsors hoose.
  11. Cyclists. Experienced ones, passing similar comments to some expressed here. Maybe better to call it constructive criticism.
  12. Hi Billy, No need for the committee to be involved as plenty experienced riders in the chaingang and making very good contributions to this thread. Some of the committee are participants in the chaingang so it is going to get talked about though. It's a serious topic and I'm glad it is being treated as such. Apart from the risk to members there is also the risk of damage to the club's reputation (I have had some negative feedback from 3rd parties who have seen the chaingang in action) so please do crack on with agreeing a way to make this v successful group work.
  13. Nothing smaller than a 16" wheel, sorry. It is signed by Sir Chris though :-)
  14. With support like that how can I say no? See you Sunday.
  15. Tempted, but concerned about lack of bail out options for fat lads :-0
  16. Great run out this morning. Rolling through Rhu a wee voice in my head was saying just stay with the bunch to Kilcreggan. Glad I never listened lol. 74 miles enough for me - and no café stop or beer or chips either. #I'mAnAthlete
  17. Lol. The 7" flexidisc came off the rear wheel yesterday. Stem will be chopped this week
